Offering Title:                        Organizational/Responsibilities Development Training

Offering Description:           Many companies do not rely on a detailed and defined functional responsibility structure.  For many years people were able to perform their tasks, fairly efficiently, because they knew what had to be accomplished.  However, over the years the business has changed to a point where they need better and more organized responsibility structuring.  This training will involve managers, supervisors and key employees who will participate in training that includes workshops and will result in a more defined organizational structure with defined roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.  The training is a necessity to enhance the capabilities and efficiencies of employee performance.  The training will also improve the skill levels and therefore improve the career paths within the Company for the individual trainees and their transferable skills.  This training includes the requirements and abilities for:

  • Aligning the functional organizations to achieve the desired results.
  • Planning, developing and articulating a company’s Mission and Vision.

Offering Title:  Manager & Key Employee Training; Part 1 of 10

Offering Description:  The following is a program for providing organization/functional development.  This is Part 1 of 10 courses in this area.  You may or may not need every step.  Your program will be tailored to your needs.

Overall Organizational Development:  The learning objective is to upgrade the capabilities of managers/key employees to:  develop/articulate the company’s Mission and Vision, assess each functional organization, develop success factors, goals, objectives, strategies, and how to align the functions to achieve success.

Costs are dependent on the number of sessions established. 

The training sessions will utilize real situations as well as theoretical requirements and will incorporate the following, as necessary:

Offering Description:  The following is a program for upgrading the skills required to manage in today’s competitive environment.  You may or may not need every step.  Your program will be tailored to your needs.  This is part 2 of 10 courses in this area.

Training sessions will be devoted to:

  • Developing leadership skills.
  • Understanding one’s role and team building.
  • How to schedule and manage one’s time.
  • How to schedule and time manage one’s employee’s.
  • How to set goals for one’s self and for one’s employees.
  • How to measure and correct performance.
  • How to communicate.
  • How to implement accountability.

Offering Title:  Marketing/Sales/Customer Service Skills Training; Part 3 of 10

Offering Description: The following is a program for upgrading the skills of marketing/sales/customer service personnel.  You may or may not need every step.  Your program will be tailored to your needs.  This is part 3 of 10 courses in this area.

Training sessions will concentrate on customer interfaces:

  • How to make certain that a quote/proposal really responds to and addresses a customer’s RFQ.  Bid & Proposal Response.
  • How to verify that the order, as received, equates to what you quoted. 
  • How to deal with areas of change with the customers.  Contract Review/Changes
  • How to fully understand the customer’s requirements (specification) and translate them into instructions for the company’s functional elements.

Offering Title:  Program Manager Skills Training; Part 4 of 10

Offering Description:  The following is a program for upgrading the skills of Program Managers and those selected to run a significant program.  You may or may not need every step.  Your program will be tailored to your needs.  This is part 4 of 10 courses in skills training.

Training sessions will concentrate on how to manage a significant contract.

  • Using the accepted customer specification, how to properly communicate the requirements to the Engineering and Operations functions (Sales Order/Job Authorization content and release).
  • How to establish budgets and measure/control dollar expenditures.
  • How to establish the program’s infrastructure and work environment requirements.
  • How to measure performance and correct program problem areas.
  • How to inform management and establish reviews.

Offering Title:  Functional Skills Training for Engineering and D&D Personnel; Part 5 of 10

Offering Description:  The following is a program for upgrading the skills of Engineering and D&D Personnel to make their design, development, product release tasks more efficient.  This is part 5 of 10 courses in skills training.  Sessions will concentrate on:

  • The design and development process:
    • Preliminary reviews, to make certain “things” are off in the right direction
    • Critical reviews as design efforts proceed
    • Final reviews
    • Assessments using Engineering or pre-prod models
    • Manufacturability
  • The design release process:
    • Assessment of all manufacturing and assembly drawings
    • Assessment of all procurement drawings and specifications
    • Assessment of associated tooling and test equipment being utilized
    • Assessment of product testing documents
    • Is everything proper and ready to be released
    • Approval system
  • Design changes and configuration control.

Offering Title:  Functional Skills Training for Purchasing; Part 6 of 10

Offering Description:  The following is a program for upgrading the skills of purchasing personnel.  You may or may not need every step.  Your program will be tailored to your needs.  This is part 6 of 10 courses in skills training.

Training sessions will concentrate on:

  • Purchase Orders, what they should contain as standard clauses, PO format, part descriptions/specifications, schedule, price, etc.
  • How to request bids from suppliers
  • How to assess supplier qualifications and approve them as sources of supply
  • How to monitor supplier performance
  • Supply chain management
  • How to properly change a Purchase Order
  • Supplier corrective and preventive action requirements

Offering Title:  Functional Skills Training, Receiving & Inventory Control Personnel; Part 7 of 10

Offering Description:  The following is a program for upgrading the skills of Receiving & Inventory Control personnel.  You may or may not need every step.  Your program will be tailored to your needs.  This is part 7 of 10 courses in skills training.

Training sessions will concentrate on:

  • Recording of received items
  • Inspection and acceptance of received items
  • Isolation/separation of bad or failed items
  • Handing of all items and movement to Inventory
  • Inventory system, in-out transactions, locations and quantities control
  • Inventory cost controls
  • Control of any customer provided product

  • Order release and kitting (from inventory to manufacturing for assembly efforts)
  • Factory scheduling techniques
  • Developing part processing information and controls
  • Control of testing and measuring devices and how to calibrate
  • In process product inspection implementation, recording, etc.
  • Internal Corrective Action Process
  • Final Product Inspection/Test
  • Product Packaging and Delivery
  • At site installation/test/customer acceptance
